Bringing prominent brands to the UAE and wider Gulf has been the primary objective of Al Ghurair Retail since its inception in 1999. From our Dubai headquarters, we have developed a core offering and are constantly seeking out high performance franchise concepts that will positively enhance our brand portfolio.
Although little more than a decade old, Al Ghurair Retail stands on the foundations of a diversified parent group with half a century’s experience in the Middle East. We operate our own distribution and warehousing facility in Dubai, with a computerized management system providing seamless ‘on demand’ daily replenishment to stores throughout the region.
Al Ghurair Retail’s market reach extends across the GCC and beyond. Our future plans include significant expansion in our three main countries of operation – the U.A.E, Kuwait and Qatar. Further expansion where appropriate – and in agreement with the brand principal – is envisaged in Bahrain, Oman and the KSA.
In line with our core objective, Al Ghurair Retail is always seeking to develop new brand associations and franchises. We are currently looking for fashion brands in ladies plus clothing, children’s wear, home-wear, teen fashion, street fashion, footwear and gifts. We are also keen to develop non-fashion franchises in F&B concepts.
Triumph, Springfield and THEFACESHOP lead our current brands. All stock and store designs come via the brand principals – Triumph’s international centre in France; Springfield from their Headquarters in Spain and The Face Shop from their South Korea HQ. In the UAE, we deal almost exclusively with malls and developers to secure prime locations.
